Health and Wellness home business advice (Part 3)

Here are two basic questions everyone should ask themselves:

1)  What is going to be different about tomorrow, next week or next month?

2)  What's going to change, and when is it going to happen?

Here's an Ancient Chinese Proverb for you:
“He who stand on side of hill waiting for roast duck to fly in mouth soon starve.” 

If you've wanted to start a home business, or yours just isn't working out, are you WAITING for something?  Like… anything?  I mean, are you waiting for some undefined... mysterious… I don’t know - some event, inflection point or realization?
It’s probably not going to come.
One thing I can say with certainty is that our team is on fire for a reason.  Like I've said before, it doesn't matter if you join us or not.  The same principles apply if you're involved in something different.

You know, in this industry, some people will ask, "What's you elevator pitch?"  Personally, I don't believe in bothering people on elevators.  But you should be able to share what you have to offer using as few words as possible.  You ought to be able to sum it up (in a way that creates interest) in less than 30 seconds.

Alright, here's how I do it:

"Are you making enough money?  Are you getting paid what you're worth?"  (90% say no, by the way)

"Have you ever heard of colostrum?  It's this crazy supplement that I recently found myself.  Just sharing it with others is earning me a living.  I'm not the expert on it because I'm not a doctor, but colostrum does three things for you.  It helps support your body to stimulate your metabolism, immune system and HgH hormones.  That's anti-aging.  We've got a little recorded number you can listen to (I just write the number - 
832-253-1162 - on a piece of paper or whatever).  Do that, get back to me and I can get you a sample package."

That's it.

It's a system to put people through the 'audiomercial'.  It's our team stuff - like the scripts, pin codes, etc.

All I do is the same thing, over and over.  I'm going to do it next year and the year after that.  But you know what?  This business, your business or somebody else's  business - we all have the same problems and the same challenges.  Don't think that you're different if you're just getting started and you wonder, 'How do I pay the bills while I wait for this business to grow?'

There's no easy answer for fear and self-doubt.  All I can tell you is to never quit.  You're no different than anyone else.  Everyone has the same opportunity.  Everyone can get creative... but you DO need a system.

You know what else?  You're going to have to learn stuff.  Yeah, people will let you down.  Yes, you're going to have to replace down-line deadbeats.  Yeah, you'll get frustrated.  You overcome this by always looking up and never looking down. 

Where do you want to go?  It's just a matter of talking to the right number of people to get there.  The 'elevator speech' doesn't really matter.  If you're reading this, I'm talking to you.  You need to be on a mission to put the product and the opportunity in front of as many people as possible - however you do it.

By the way, you will never 'have enough time'.   You will either have to make the time, or five years will go by and you'll look back and say, 'Wow, I wish I'd found the time.'  It's real simple how you do this.  You make the time.

Don't look at all the reasons why you can't do it.  Yeah, you'll have to make sacrifices.  A home business takes more work than you think.  It's because you're the only one doing anything.  You don't go the extra mile.  You go the extra million miles - often without compensation or recognition. 

What I'm doing is giving advice here.  I can't force you to do anything, but I can help you.  In fact, this business (all business, actually) is about serving others.  I'm being honest, though.  It's going to be hard.  There aren't any shortcuts.  If you wanna' walk in the high country, you're going to have to make the sacrifices, take the discipline and talk to enough people to change their lives.
